The recteq E-Series Built In 1300 puts real wood fired flavor into an outdoor kitchen. It slides into a countertop cutout the same way a gas grill does, then cooks on hardwood pellets from a 27 pound hopper. A full hopper is good for up to 27 hours of low and slow cooking.
A PID controller holds your set temperature within 5°F anywhere from 180°F to 700°F. That covers an overnight brisket at the low end and a hard sear on steaks at the top. Set and watch the cook on the color control screen or from the recteq app over WiFi. Two meat probes come with the grill and show internal temperatures on the screen and in the app.
The main grate gives you 618 square inches, with another 578 square inches of secondary rack space, enough for about 50 burgers at once. The HotFlash ceramic igniter is rated for more than 100,000 starts. Plan for a 110 volt GFCI outlet near the island to power the controller, fan and auger.
