RTF stands for ready to finish. An RTF outdoor kitchen arrives fully built on a steel frame and wrapped in cement board, with the appliance openings already cut. You or your contractor add the final exterior, such as stone veneer, brick, stucco or tile, so the kitchen matches your home.

Design Ready is the Big Ridge ready to finish (RTF) line. Each kitchen is built at the factory on a commercial duty steel frame, sheathed in cement board, and cut and vented for its appliances. You get the speed of a prefab outdoor kitchen with the custom look of a masonry build. Choose a quick ship island with Bull or Blaze appliances, or a named layout such as the L shaped Blackbird and configure its grill, storage and refrigerator. Shop Design Ready kitchens.

No. Finish materials and countertops are not included with Design Ready kitchens, so you can choose what matches your home. Our finished outdoor kitchens, such as the Premium Finish and Luxury Finished lines, arrive with the exterior and countertop already applied.

Yes. Choose natural gas or liquid propane when you order, and your grill and burners are set up for that fuel. The gas connection should be made by a licensed professional.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus financing through Affirm.

Yes. Big Ridge offers financing through Affirm, including 0% APR promotional financing on qualifying purchases, subject to credit approval. You can prequalify on our Finance & Payment page or choose Affirm at checkout. The monthly payment option shown on product pages, Shop Pay Installments, is also provided by Affirm. Rates range from 0% to 36% APR based on credit and are subject to an eligibility check; full terms and lender details are on the Finance & Payment page.

Sales tax is calculated from your shipping address and the state and local rates that apply. You will see it at checkout before you place your order.

Outdoor kitchens are made to order for each customer, so they cannot be cancelled or returned once ordered. Please review the layout, appliances and fuel type before you order, and call us at 866-635-5487 with any questions.

Shipping is free on orders over $249 to the lower 48 states, and orders under $249 ship for a flat $14.95. Both rates exclude commercial sales. Hard to reach locations may carry an added fee, and we will contact you before shipping if that applies. See our shipping policy for details.

Quick Ship kitchens leave our warehouse in 3 to 5 business days, other kitchens in 7 to 10 business days and custom designs in about 3 to 6 weeks. Transit time is added once your order ships, and we can hold an order if you need a later delivery date.

We ship to the contiguous 48 states only. Locations that freight trucks cannot reach easily, such as islands, narrow or gravel roads, or rooftop units, may need special arrangements and added fees. For destinations outside the lower 48, we can ship to a freight forwarder you arrange; call us at 866-635-5487 to plan it.

Smaller items ship by UPS or FedEx. Outdoor kitchens ship by freight to the curb with liftgate service, and the carrier calls you to schedule delivery. Count the pieces and check for damage before you sign, write "Damaged" on the receipt if anything is wrong, and call us at 866-635-5487 within 3 business days to report any damage.

Many owners do. Quick ship Design Ready islands bolt together in about 20 minutes with the included tools, and larger layouts arrive with cement board and appliance openings already in place. Gas, water and electrical connections should be made by licensed professionals, and the finish can be applied by you or a mason.

Yes. Our Backyard Concierge Service is a flat $899 upgrade available on every Big Ridge product. Partner technicians move your purchase from the curb to its final spot, assemble and level it, and haul away the pallets and packaging.

Yes. Prices on our named Design Ready layouts are for a freestanding install with a finished back. If your kitchen will sit against a wall or structure, call us at 866-635-5487 and we can adjust the layout and lower the cost.

New, unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a full refund, minus the shipping cost we paid, with no restocking fee. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error, and you need a return authorization (RMA) from us first. Outdoor kitchens are made to order and cannot be cancelled or returned, and gas appliances that have been connected to fuel cannot be refunded. See our refund policy for details.

Call us at 866-635-5487 within 3 business days of delivery and send photos of the damage and the packaging to customerservice@bigridgeoutdoorkitchens.com. We will file the claim with the carrier and work with you on a repair or replacement.

Everything Big Ridge builds, including Design Ready frames, cabinets and finished kitchen cabinetry, carries a 20 Year Limited Warranty for home use, and 3 years for commercial or shared use. Grills, refrigerators and other components from other brands are covered by their own manufacturer's warranty, and we will help you with those claims. Finishing materials you add, such as stone or tile, and their installation are not covered. Read the full warranty.
