Big Ridge Outdoor Living

Warranty

We build every Big Ridge product to last, and we stand behind it. Our warranty is simple. What we build, we cover for 20 years. What other brands build is covered by their own warranty, and we will help you use it.

What Big Ridge covers: 20 Year Limited Warranty

Every product Big Ridge manufactures is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 20 years when it is installed at a home for personal, family or household use. This includes:

  • Outdoor kitchen frames, cabinets and modules, including Design Ready and Ready-to-Finish frames
  • Finished kitchen cabinetry, facades and countertops built by Big Ridge
  • Fire table, fireplace and fire pit enclosures built by Big Ridge
  • TV lift cabinet enclosures built by Big Ridge

For commercial or shared use, such as restaurants, rental properties, apartment and condo buildings, and community or HOA spaces, the warranty period is 3 years.

What other manufacturers cover

Many Big Ridge products include components made by other brands. These components are covered only by their own manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand and model. Examples:

  • Grills, side burners, griddles, pizza ovens and other cooking appliances
  • Refrigerators, ice makers, kegerators and wine coolers
  • Sinks, faucets, and access doors and drawers made by appliance brands
  • Fireplace and fire pit burners, inserts, ignition systems and gas parts
  • TV lift mechanisms, motors and remotes
  • Lighting, electrical parts and accessories

Each manufacturer's warranty documents come with its component. If you need help with a claim, contact us. We will point you to the right manufacturer and help you get started.

Ready-to-Finish products

Design Ready and Ready-to-Finish frames are covered by the 20 Year Limited Warranty. Big Ridge does not cover the finishing materials you or your contractor add, such as stone, stucco, tile or countertops, or the work to install them. Damage caused by finishing work that does not follow our installation instructions is not covered.

What is not covered

  • Labor to inspect, repair, remove or reinstall products.
  • Shipping and freight costs for returned or replacement parts.
  • Damage caused by products or services from others, or by improper installation, storage, use or maintenance, modifications, misuse or accidents.
  • Normal wear and weathering, and the natural variation in color and texture of stone and wood.
  • Fire, flood, storms, lightning, earthquakes and other acts of nature, theft or vandalism.

How we make it right

If a Big Ridge product fails because of a defect during the warranty period, we will provide a replacement product or component at no charge. If it is no longer available, we will provide a suitable substitute or a credit toward a new Big Ridge product. The owner is responsible for shipping, labor and installation of the replacement. A replacement is covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

Who is covered

The warranty covers the original owner at the place where the product was first installed. It can be transferred to a new owner of that home with written notice to Big Ridge.

When coverage starts

Coverage starts on the date installation was completed, as shown on the installer's invoice. If that date cannot be confirmed, coverage starts on the purchase date in our records.

How to make a claim

Contact us within the warranty period at 866-635-5487 or Customerservice@bigridgeoutdoorkitchens.com. Have your order number, proof of purchase and installation, and photos of the problem ready. We may ask you to return the defective part.
