How to Choose an Outdoor Kitchen Island

Start with size. A 6 ft island fits most patios and holds a grill with storage, a refrigerator or a griddle. An 8 ft island adds room for a second cooking zone, and 10 ft and longer islands can hold a grill, griddle, refrigeration, an ice maker and a sink in one run.
