Blaze 8 ft Outdoor Kitchen Island with 30" Griddle & Refrigerator

Overview

An 8 ft island built around a Blaze 30 inch gas griddle, with a 24 inch outdoor beverage cooler and a roll out trash drawer. It arrives fully finished, with natural stone, Forest Reserve plank or 2 inch slat sides and a natural granite countertop, in sections that two people bolt together in 30 to 60 minutes. There is no masonry work and no contractor schedule.

Choose the look that fits your space. The sides come in natural stacked stone: Rustic Ash in rust, copper and slate tones, Sunkissed Dune in warm sand, gold and honey, Tuscan Hearth in a muted blend of gray, sage and taupe, and Alabaster in white and soft gray. Or choose Forest Reserve plank in Alpine Crest, Drifted Cypress, Warmed Acacia, Umbered Oak, Cindered Ash or Midnight Graphite, which gives you the look of wood with no staining or sealing. For a more modern line, choose 2 inch slats in Cindered Ash, Drifted Cypress, Warmed Acacia or Umbered Oak, running horizontally or vertically. The countertop is natural granite in Charred Onyx, a honed matte charcoal, or polished Tempest Gray, Frosted Ember or Palisade White. The Blaze Equipment

Blaze LTE+ 30 inch gas griddle. Two stainless steel U shaped burners at 15,000 BTUs each heat a 480 square inch stainless steel plate, room for pancakes, smash burgers, fajitas and vegetables at the same time. Flame thrower ignition with flash tube backup lights it, LED knob lights help after dark, and a double walled, spring assisted lid covers the plate when you are done.

Blaze 24 inch glass front beverage cooler. 5.5 cubic feet of outdoor rated cold storage in 304 stainless steel, about 84 cans plus 22 bottles, behind a locking glass door so guests can see what is inside. A digital thermostat holds 34 to 68°F, a white LED light shows what is inside after dark, and it vents from the front so it builds neatly into the island.

Blaze 32 inch double access doors. 304 stainless steel doors on soft close hinges open the full width of the cabinet, so the propane tank, covers and tools stay out of sight but easy to reach.

Blaze narrow roll out trash drawer. A removable 42 quart bin on a 304 stainless steel roll out drawer keeps trash hidden but close to where you cook.

How It Is Built

Under the finish, every Big Ridge island is built on a fully welded frame of 1 inch triple galvanized steel tubing, sheathed in WonderBoard Lite cement board that is noncombustible and resists moisture, mold, mildew and pests. We build and finish it at our shop in Athens, Tennessee, and it ships as finished sections that are easy to carry into a backyard or onto a deck. The sections bolt together with the included wrench and hardware, and adjustable leveling feet take up small dips in the patio. Gas venting for the griddle, mounting hardware and assembly tools are included, so there is no cutting or custom building on site.

Good to Know

• Swap the double access doors for a 32 inch door and double drawer combo with lighted drawers (add $420)
• The glass front beverage cooler comes standard; choose a 24 inch stainless door refrigerator instead (add $150)
• Plank and slat sides need a Blaze insulated jacket around the griddle for heat protection. It is added when you choose a plank or slat finish (BLZ-GRIDDLE-IJ2, add $764.10); stone sides need no jacket
• Overall dimensions: 96 in W x 31 in D x 37.5 in H
• The griddle runs on propane or natural gas; choose your fuel type when you order
• A 110V GFCI outlet is needed for the refrigerator and the griddle knob lights
• Gas and electrical hookups are not included; plan on licensed pros for those connections
